Hello, Hola everyone! I am happy to bring you information on all kinds of craft patterns, from vintage to modern. I don't know about you, but when I get a moment to relax, I have to have some kind of craft going on in my hands. My favorite crafts are knitting, crocheting, plastic canvas and cross stitching. I have tried many crafts but in my later years, I have had to specialize because I would never get anything accomplished. In my day job, I work as a Spanish teacher at the high school here in Holmes County, Florida. In my other job, (my friends call it my hobby), I sell my collection of craft patterns in my online stores, vintagepatternresource.com and lastade-patterns.com. I love to help people find patterns that are meaningful to them, such as the lady who remembered a special afghan that her mother made for her and now wished to make for her daughter. Currently I am knitting a baby layette for my neice who is pregnant for the first time. My sister, a lefty, is trying to knit the afghan and I am knitting the booties, bonnet and sweater. My sister hasn't picked up knitting needles since she was 10 years old so I am trying to help her get started again. Although she is a leftie, she knits right-handed. She wants to make her new grandchild something special. We are working on a Columbia Minerva pattern from the 1950's.
